At the heart of every design in the Dusty Deco collection lies a unique voice. Each piece is defined by a strong silhouette, quality materials and a character-rich presence. Across their collection, materials are varied and tactile. They shape interiors defined by contrast: marble against warm wood, sculptural ceramics beside polished surfaces, metal softened by textiles.
While the brand is known for its eclectic, "found" aesthetic, each collection is the result of a collaboration between architects, interior designers, woodworkers, craftsmen and world-recognised designers. To understand what sets Dusty Deco apart, it helps to look beyond the finished pieces and towards the designers behind them.
At the heart of Dusty Deco are founders Edin Kjellvertz and Lina Kjellvertz. Their approach is instinctive, shaped as much by the places they’ve lived as the objects they’ve collected over time. Their move to Mallorca, in particular, brought a shift in palette and atmosphere, introducing warmer tones and a stronger connection to architectural detail.
Their starting point has always been a love of sourcing and finding furniture pieces with presence and character in vintage markets and antique stores. That same mindset carries through into their designs today. They’re interested in contrast: how materials interact, how shapes balance each other, how something structured can be softened or something simple given more presence.
For Edin and Lina, furniture isn't just about utility; it’s about creating a "lived-in" perspective. They design for the way they live today – creating spaces that feel layered, personal, and ever-evolving.

When you look at the Miles Armchair, Miles Loveseat and Miles Sofa, you are seeing furniture through the lens of an architect. Stockholm-based architecture and product design firm MER Arkitekter approached this series with the same rigour they apply to their building and environmental projects: focusing on how good design can support human well-being.
When designing the Miles seating collection, MER Arkitekter stripped away the unnecessary to create a silhouette that is timeless, comfortable and inviting. The armchair, loveseat and sofa have a linear shape, softened by large, rounded cushions. Every small detail has been thought out, from the tactile upholstery fabric to the rounded beech legs – stained to create a patina that is distinctly Dusty Deco. Taking its influence from the 1920s Swedish Grace, the Miles collection blends references of antiquity with contemporary design, creating something that looks fresh and new.
Stockholm-based architectural firm Bross are known for creating spaces that blend classical elegance with a touch of playfulness. Their expertise spans private residences, interiors and furniture design. They are the creative force behind the Alba Dining Chair. For Bross, the intention was to create a piece that feels entirely natural within the rhythm of everyday life.
The Alba chair reflects Bross’ respect for traditional craftsmanship and high-quality materials. They have played with unexpected proportions to create a chair that evokes the familiarity of home whilst feeling distinctly one-of-a-kind and modern. When designing the Alba Dining Chair, Bross’ aim was to create the perfect dining chair that fits well together with the rest of the Dusty Deco collection.
The Alba Dining Chair is the perfect example of how Dusty Deco elevates the "staples" of a home – taking a dining chair and turning it into a tactile experience.
Niklas Runesson is a self-taught craftsman from Småland, a region in Sweden famous for its woodworking history. Coming from a family of skilled woodworkers, Runesson has an intuitive understanding of material that only comes from generations of experience. Using traditional techniques learned from his heritage, he creates beautifully crafted pieces that have a contemporary edge.
Inspired by nature, his approach is led by intuition rather than trends. Crafted from solid walnut, the Easy Chair is an excellent example of this, with its sheepskin upholstery, low profile and wide, curved backrest. It combines the warmth of natural materials with a distinct, sculptural character.
Runesson is a long-standing collaborator with Dusty Deco, developing the Easy Chair by hand in his Stockholm workshop. The chair has since gone through several variations but remains a staple in Dusty Deco’s collection.
Dusty Deco is as much about the future as it is about honouring the legacy of past designers. The Elias Armchair is a reissue of a classic mid-century design by celebrated Swedish interior architect and furniture designer Elias Svedberg (1913–1987). The chair is an icon of Swedish Modern, with its winged back, rounded corners and inviting proportions.
By reissuing the Elias Armchair, Dusty Deco ensures that Svedberg’s legacy remains part of the modern conversation. This piece demonstrates that truly thoughtful design is ageless. It carries the weight of history but fits seamlessly into an eclectic modern interior, proving that good design never goes out of style.
What makes Dusty Deco unique is not just the calibre of these individual designers but also the way their work comes together to create a cohesive collection. The designs are diverse, but each piece from the collection looks completely at home together.
From the architectural lines of the Miles Sofa to the tactile softness of the Easy Chair and the playful proportions of the Alba Dining Chair, the pieces are connected by a shared sensibility. One that values longevity over trend, character over uniformity, and balance over excess.
It is this approach that allows Dusty Deco’s collection of furniture, lighting and home accessories to feel both cohesive and evolving – a collection shaped not by a single idea but by a dialogue between designers, materials and time.
Ultimately, Dusty Deco is not about creating statement pieces in isolation. It is about how those pieces come together within a space and settle into everyday life.
Through collaboration, Edin and Lina Kjellvertz have built something that goes beyond a traditional furniture collection. They have created a framework for interiors that feel personal, layered and lived in. Spaces that reflect not just a style, but a way of living.
