The FontanaArte Pinecone Table Lamp sits within a range that feels more sculptural than purely functional, without tipping into something overly theatrical. Designed as part of a wider family of pendant and table pieces, it’s defined by the way glass and metal are brought together in a single, controlled form. Compared with simpler glass lamps, this one is noticeably more structured, with the cage becoming part of the visual language rather than something hidden away.
The diffuser is created using a traditional caged glass-blowing method, where molten glass is shaped within a metal framework. The glass naturally pushes against the cage as it forms, so no two pieces settle quite the same way. The metal structure is finished with a galvanic treatment, giving it a brighter, more reflective surface. In the transparent version, you can see both the internal form and the cage clearly, which adds a sense of depth when the lamp is on. The white version softens this, following the lines of the cage more closely and diffusing the light in a calmer way.
In a room, it works best where you want a bit of structure without losing warmth. On a side table or console it gives off a layered glow, and the shadow pattern becomes part of the atmosphere rather than just a by-product. It holds its own when switched off as well, more like an object than a typical lamp. We’ve seen it used in both residential and contract settings, and it tends to settle easily once placed, even in more minimal interiors.

About your delivery
- We aim to get your items to you as soon as possible.
- For regular sized packages we use an overnight courier company, usually either DPD or APC.
- For oversized, heavy or awkward packages a more bespoke delivery service will be provided.
- Once your order has been despatched, you will receive a tracking link by email so you can follow your delivery to your door.
- Free Delivery offer only applies to UK mainland purchases. We reserve the right to make additional charges for overseas deliveries and for remote parts of the UK, including Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Shetland, and the Highlands.
What happens when I order?
- If your order is in stock, you should have your item(s) within 3-5 days of placing your order, but please note there can be a small increase in delivery time during busy periods.
- Free Click & Collect is available from all of our showroom locations and from our warehouse in Ludlow. This can be selected as an option within our checkout. PLEASE NOTE: Stock is not held in our stores and your order will need to be transferred from our warehouse to the relevant store - this can take 4-8 days. For in stock items, the fastest way to receive your order is to have it delivered directly to you.
Returns
- All goods can be returned within 30 days of delivery if they do not meet your requirements.
- Returned goods must be returned with all parts, packaging, and instructions in perfect condition for a refund to be issued.
