The Bover Syra Outdoor Pendant Light is a luxury contemporary exterior luminaire masterfully created by design partners Alex Fernández Camps and Gonzalo Milà for the Spanish studio Bover. Immediately identifiable by its large scale and distinctive semi-conical silhouette, this high-end technical pendant features an expansive hand-woven basket weave that serves as a commanding, warm visual anchor for grand covered terraces, open-air garden pavilions, and large-scale commercial hospitality spaces. The design focus balances significant volume with visual weightlessness, bringing the cozy comfort and soft aesthetic of indoor living directly out into the open air.
The pendant light is precisely configured with a structural aluminium frame that holds its hand-wrapped outer shade, dropping an abundance of direct downlight while filtering a soft lateral glow through its synthetic wicker grid. At the core of the luminaire is a high-performance, energy-saving LED plate, shielded by an internal opal glass or polycarbonate diffuser that softens the light wave paths to eliminate glare entirely. Supported by thin, high-tensile stainless steel suspension wires and an adjustable central waterproof neoprene cable, the balanced assembly floats effortlessly over large outdoor dining tables or deep lounge seating configurations, successfully preserving floor space while keeping peripheral lines of sight open and clear.
Built to strict commercial contracting standards, the luminaire features an outstanding IP66 ingress protection rating, guaranteeing a completely dust-tight seal that blocks powerful water jets, heavy downpours, and high atmospheric humidity. The internal metallic skeleton is crafted from premium non-corrosive metals, while the exterior basket shade is hand-woven from fully recyclable, non-toxic synthetic polyethylene fibres. These fibres are technically stabilized against UV exposure to prevent fading, sun bleaching, or cracking across decades of continuous exposure. Available in two dramatic sizes, a 60 cm and an expansive 90 cm diameter, this luxury pendant can be specified in a choice of Graphite Brown or Natural White finishes to coordinate flawlessly with polished stone surfaces and rich timber furniture. About your delivery
- We aim to get your items to you as soon as possible.
- For regular sized packages we use an overnight courier company, usually either DPD or APC.
- For oversized, heavy or awkward packages a more bespoke delivery service will be provided.
- Once your order has been despatched, you will receive a tracking link by email so you can follow your delivery to your door.
- Free Delivery offer only applies to UK mainland purchases. We reserve the right to make additional charges for overseas deliveries and for remote parts of the UK, including Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Shetland, and the Highlands.
What happens when I order?
- If your order is in stock, you should have your item(s) within 3-5 days of placing your order, but please note there can be a small increase in delivery time during busy periods.
- Free Click & Collect is available from all of our showroom locations and from our warehouse in Ludlow. This can be selected as an option within our checkout. PLEASE NOTE: Stock is not held in our stores and your order will need to be transferred from our warehouse to the relevant store - this can take 4-8 days. For in stock items, the fastest way to receive your order is to have it delivered directly to you.
Returns
- All goods can be returned within 30 days of delivery if they do not meet your requirements.
- Returned goods must be returned with all parts, packaging, and instructions in perfect condition for a refund to be issued.
