How to hang picture lights on the wall
Learning how to correctly hang your picture light not only ensures your painting will be properly illuminated but will prevent you from causing any damage to your artwork during installation.
Follow these simple steps to hang your new picture light on the wall:
- Measure two inches above your selected piece and make a pencil mark above your frame’s top corner.
- Use this point to locate the centre of your piece.
- Position the picture light so the bulb is placed at the two-inch mark above the picture, right in the centre.
- Find the screw holes on the mounting bracket and use a pencil to mark them on the wall.
- Use a drill to make pilot holes into your pencil marks.
- Screw the mounting bracket to the wall using the screws that came with your wall picture light.
