Mario Bellini
Born in 1935, Mario Bellini is an internationally renowned architect and designer. An eight-time recipient of the prestigious Compasso d'Oro, 25 of his works are now in the permanent design collection at New York's MoMA.
Known for his novel combination of organic aesthetics with contemporary Italian design language, Bellini has been prolific in his creation of designs for architecture, urban planning, furniture and lighting. Two of his most famous pieces are the Camaleonda sofa for B&B Italia and the Chiara Lighting Collection for Flos.
