Marcel Wanders
The Dutch wunderkind, Marcel Wanders is the founder of both the much lauded Marcel Wanders Studio and brand Moooi, headquartered in Amsterdam and Breda respectively. Wanders holds an impressively vast portfolio of design projects, chief amongst them his Knotted Chair designed for Droog and Skygarden Pendant light for Flos.
His clients include Alessi, Flos, KLM, Hyatt, Louis Vuitton and Swarovski. Beside his acclaim and prodigious output Wanders still manages to devote time to delivering lectures at the MoMA, IDFA and THNK School of Creative Leadership, inspiring the next wave of groundbreaking designers.
