Joel Hoff
German-British designer Joel Hoff studied at the Muthesius Kunsthockschule in Kiel and the Royal College of Art in London before opening his own studio. Specialising in contemporary furniture and lighting, Hoff aims to design objects for mass-production that do not fuel mass-consumption.
Demonstrating a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, advantages and limitations, he won the HAY Talent Award for his Turn On light in 2014. He continues to design for HAY as well as Wagner and Gaggenau.
