Carlotta de Bevilacqua
One of the few major female players in the world of contemporary design, Carlotta de Bevilacqua is the current president & CEO of Artemide and president of Danese Milano. An architect, designer and teacher, she has focused her career on in-depth research in the field of lighting design.
Besides examining the connection between light and man's wellbeing, Carlotta de Bevilacqua has also worked on creating new quality standards in terms of performance and consumption for the benefit of the planet. Her efforts have been internationally acknowledged with a host of invention patents and awards, and many of her designs can be seen in the collections of Artemide and Danese.
