Scandi Oak table
Our Scandi Oak table is made for us from European Oak to a simple, Scandinavian design. Often, less is more, and this table lets the wood do the talking. Full of character the edges of the solid oak top follow the original profile of the trunk giving each table a unique profile. Contrasting this are the simple, clean lines of the steel frame legs that can be supplied in a number of standard finishes or finished in any RAL colour number - price on application. We absolutely love this table and we are sure you will too. Available in a large number of standard sizes; bespoke sizes on application.
Wood, like any other natural porous material, continues to absorb and release humidy throughout its life. Variations in wood grain, texture, colour, knots and other naturally occuring characteristics are inherent in solid wood.
The table top is pre-treated with three coats of a water-based protection giving a durable finish that does not change the nature of the beautiful oak i.e. there is no shine and you cannot see the difference between the treated table top and untreated oak.

Your delivered table is treated with Woodlock . This is a good first protection against stains while maintaining the natural color and appearance of the furniture. You can not treat the wood with another extra remedy, because the Woodlock will not take this. We advise you to deal with the table with care. If you drop something on the table, it is best to take this as soon as possible with a slightly damp cloth with a soapy water. For example, if you leave a wet glass or wet vase on the wooden top for an extended period of time, it will create circles after a few hours. Even against hot objects, both the Woodlock and the wooden blade are not resistant. Think, for example, of hot pans or tea lights. Never place them directly on the wooden surface.
Cracks in wooden tops.
This can always be possible. Wood is and remains a natural product and wood continues to work under the influence of the climate .
