Jean Prouvé’s stylish Standard chair was designed to combat the wear and tear of constant use. Slender steel tubing has been used for the chair’s front legs which bear a relatively light load, while the back legs are made of voluminous hollow steel that transfers the primary stress into the felt glides and onto the floor. The Standard chair provides a modern, industrial aesthetic and can be used in home offices and dining rooms. 

Available in three seat and backrest wood finishes and several powder-coated base colours.
