OE Quasi pendant

In partnership with Louis Poulsen, world-renowned Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson has created a new, large-scale pendant. With the complex shapes of the OE Quasi, Eliasson combines his long-time interest in geometry and light, reinforcing his and Louis Poulsen’s shared idea that quality of lighting is essential to our lives.

The pendant has 12 LEDs embedded in the inner vertices of the geometric frame that are connected to light guides along the inner edges, creating an even illumination towards the reflector in the centre of the lamp. This layered white reflector emits the light spherically back into the room, resulting in a glare-free uniform light.
