The Croissant lounge chair - fully upholstered - fabric, designed by Danish architect and designer Illum Wikkelsø, is an elegant and playful take on the traditional Chesterfield club chair. Redefining a classic piece for a more relaxed audience in the 1960s, the midcentury chair is as innovative today as it was when Wikkelsø first created the piece. The chair features a sturdy frame and legs, a slight front-to-back downward tilt and distinctive 'croissant' curves created by meticulously hand-stitching flat-piping. The backrest's horseshoe curve allows for multiple alternative sitting and lying positions. The Croissant Lounge Chair works well alone or as part of a pair of ‘fireside chairs’ in contemporary and retro living rooms, lobbies or lounges. 

Available with oak or walnut legs and a wide range of fabric options to best suit your space.
