Series 38 pendant 11 - 28 pieces
The Series 38 pushes the fabrication technique originally developed for 28 to its technical and material limits. A large glass sphere is blown with a multitude of haphazard interior cavities, which intersect and collide with each other in unpredictable ways. Several of these satellite cavities are deep enough to hold earth and succulent or cacti plantings, while others house lighting elements.
Fixed lengths hardware with copper tubing: allows the installer to attach the canopy to the ceiling before “plugging in” the individual cables one by one. The installation of the 38 is more involved than other light fixtures due to the manipulation and composition of the copper tubing. This allows for the tailoring of the light fixture to multiple scenarios. Bocci recommends mounting transformers remotely in a close, accessible and hidden location for ease of long term maintenance.
