Born in 1962, Giuseppe Maurizio Scutella is an industrial designer who designs products that are both technical and artistic. He believes that 'form should follow function' as much as 'function should follow form'.
Heavily involved in technical design research throughout his career for companies ranging from Ducati and Kawasaki to Gaggia and Prisma, Scutella's most notable work is his award-winning Pirce lighting collection for Artemide.
