Cecilie Monz
Founding her own studio in 1998 after graduation from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and the University of Art & Design in Helsinki, Cecilie Manz is an award-winning Danish designer. Known for her modern sensibility and exquisite craftsmanship, Manz ensures that each design she creates has its own functional place in the world. If it doesn't, she doesn't make it.
Her contribution to the Nordic design renaissance has been profound. She has worked on furniture and lighting collections for Muuto, Fritz Hansen, Fredericia, Nikari and Lightyears, and her designs are also featured in the permanent collections at the MoMA in New York.
